VAJRA REGENT ÖSEL TENDZIN LIBRARY & ARCHIVES
TEACHINGS FROM THE SOURCE
A historic juncture and a great teacher . . .
The Vajra Regent was first appointed as lineage successor in 1976 by the Vidyadhara Chögyam Trungpa Rinpoche. The Regent was a prolific teacher of the dharma for many years, at first under the guidance of the Vidyadhara, and later as a fully empowered holder of the Kagyu lineage, the first Westerner to be appointed to such a position.
Satdharma is
pleased to announce that under the direction of Lady Lila Rich, the Vajra
Regent Ösel Tendzin Library & Archives has embarked on a major archiving
and multi-media publishing project. As the wife of the Vajra Regent,
and a close student of the Vidyadhara Chögyam Trungpa Rinpoche, Lady Rich is a unique and valuable
resource. She has been active in the work of the Library & Archives since its
founding, and now takes on an expanded role in directly accomplishing this
important goal.
An invitation . . .
You are invited to partner with Lady Rich to accelerate the availability of the Vajra Regent's work by making a donation in any amount. Your gift (made within the U.S. or Canada*) is tax deductible. Whether small or large, recurring or one time, our combined contributions will make it possible to share the Vajra Regent’s work throughout the world. To make a donation click here, or visit the rest of the website and click on the "Donate" link top right on any page.
Sharing a powerful lineage inheritance . . .
We are excited to share details about our publishing schedule. Please click on the links to the right to read more about our publishing plans and to see what others are saying about the importance of the teacher who blazed a trail when he became the first Western student to hold a Kagyü lineage transmission in America.
Whether
large or small, your gifts will collectively be a resource to make these teachings available to everyone. Please give at whatever level is comfortable for you.
Visit www.vrot.org to see what we have already managed with what we've received so far. The site includes free online streaming of audio talks and selected video excerpts, modestly priced downloads of talks, and options to purchase DVDs, CDs and books. We look forward to growing all our publications rapidly in the year ahead.
Thank you!
